Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan on December 9 in the presence of their family members and close friends. Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Kabir Khan, Sharvari Wagh were among a few celebs who attended the grand shaadi. Vicky and Katrina are now back in town after their wedding and made their first public appearance on Tuesday. The couple will now host a grand reception for their industry friends.

Now, a source close to the couple has spoken to an entertainment portal about their wedding reception. According to a report, the source stated that ‘Vicky and Katrina are planning to host a grand reception despite the Omicron threat in Mumbai. They have decided to host the reception mostly in JW Marriott on December 20. Katrina and Vicky want to get back to work, but before that, they want to finish all their wedding festivities and so they have decided on this date. Also, Christmas is largely celebrated by Katrina Kaif and the couple has planned to celebrate it together this time and so they want to keep the reception before Christmas.’
The source also stated that as Mumbai is once again getting gripped with a new variant of COVID-19, the couple will be taking all the safety measures and following the prescribed COVID-19 protocols suggested by the BMC. The source said, ‘As the city is right now under Omicron threat, every guest will have to do their RT CPR test and get a negative report along with them to be a part of this celebration.’ Meanwhile, the star couple is treating fans by sharing glimpses from their wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies on their social media handles. Recently, they dropped multiple pictures from the wedding venue and captioned the post as ‘To love, honor and cherish.’ Earlier, they announced their wedding by sharing adorable pictures of them from the wedding ceremony and penned an identical caption that read, ‘Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.’
