Sharvari Wagh takes the internet by storm with her first solo dance number in Munja’s ‘Talas’: “Ever since I knew I wanted to be a leading actress in Hindi films, I always wanted to do a big dance number!”: Bollywood News
After the trailer MunjaMaddock Films has now released the first song of the film, “Talas”, which is a groovy dance track. The song features Sharvari, who the industry considers to be the next big star of Bollywood. Ever since the song hit the internet, people have been going crazy over the song and Sharvari in this all-out dance number.
“Ever since I wanted to be a leading actress in Hindi films, one thing I always wanted to do was a big dance number. I have always been fascinated by dance. I have been fascinated by leading actresses in Hindi films and dancers across generations who belt out hit songs that the entire nation dances to,” Sharvari said.
She further added, “Films are show business and song and dance numbers are an important tool to decide whether people want to watch a film or not. These party tracks have time and again given recognition and appreciation to actors who have given their best performances in them. We have seen famous actors and dance idols perform big dance numbers and it is because they have such drawing power and popularity that they capture people’s interest.”
Pinching herself in disbelief, Sharvari said, “I have only done one film so far and yet for producer Dinesh Vijan to have so much faith in me and entrust me with such a great dance track, I feel it gave me immense confidence that I too can do it and create a hit dance anthem. Shooting for Tharasu was… every bit of fun.”
“So, I hope that ‘Talas’ becomes a huge hit and gets people dancing in clubs, parties and everywhere! For me, it’s very encouraging to have a hit song so early in my career. It shows that the industry has faith in me and supports me. I’m really happy,” she added.
Presentation by Dinesh Vijan Munja Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik and is slated to hit theatres on June 7, 2024.
