Salman Khan is the most misunderstood person in Bollywood, I want to direct him in a film with Shah Rukh and Aamir: Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut is currently busy promoting her upcoming film. emergency recently expressed her desire to direct the three Khans of Bollywood — Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir — and shared her thoughts on their untapped artistic potential. The actress-politician also opened up about her equation with Salman Khan and described him as the most misunderstood actor in the film industry.

in Emergency trailer announcement event In Mumbai, Kangana was asked if she would consider directing all three Khans in one film. She enthusiastically replied, “I would love to direct and produce a film with all three Khans. I would like to show their talented side. They can act, they can look good and at the same time do something that is very meaningful for society. I would love to make a film like that because I think they are very talented. They bring in a lot of revenue for the industry and we should be eternally grateful to them. They relate to the masses who need that kind of entertainment but I also think they have a very artistic side which has not been explored outside a few films. I would like to explore that.”

While Kangana wouldn’t mind directing all three Khans, she maintained that she is an eternal fan of Irrfan Khan and regrets not being able to direct him. “One actor I regret not being able to direct is Irrfan Khan. He is one of my favourite Khans and I will always miss him,” she said.

Talking about Salman Khan and how he is misunderstood by people in the film industry, she explained, “Salman Khan has a huge fan base and people love him very much. He is the most loved star in the country. The only people who misunderstand him are his competitors and people in the film industry. It’s because they are jealous of him and want to be on his level.”

The Queen actress further said that she too has faced hate from industry insiders but has chosen to focus on the overwhelming support she receives from her fans. “I receive a lot of love from all quarters. Even the opposition people love me so much. They have me at the table and won’t let go. They say, ‘You are our heroine too. We have seen your films’. They talk to me about my films. It’s amazing. It’s clear that I am not liked by people in the film industry because they want their peers and family members to be in this position. I don’t approve of them. 90 per cent people love me so why should I care about the remaining 10 per cent,” she said.

“Emergency” is based on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana will not only play the lead role, but also direct and co-produce the film. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 6.
