Mumbai: Telugu star Ram Charan is currently in Mumbai to visit Ayyappa temple as Ayyappa Deeksha. However, his visit to ‘City of Dreams’ sparked rumors that he might be a part of a Bollywood project with superstar director Rajkumar Hirani.
However, it has been confirmed that he has not signed any Bollywood project.
A source revealed that the ‘RRR’ actor currently has no plans to appear in Bollywood and is busy with other projects.
A source said, “There is no news of Ram Charan signing any Bollywood project. He is currently busy with work to do, but he also has other priorities.”
The actor, who is a staunch follower of Lord Ayyappan, also known as Dharmashastra, has been visiting several temples in the south as part of showing his devotion to the deity, who is considered the defender of truth and dharma.
Ayyappa Diksha is a sacred vow kept by the devotees of Lord Ayyappa. During this period, Ram Charan promised to follow strict rules and regulations, including wearing only black kurta and Ayyappa mala.
All devotees are required to observe a 41-day fast before visiting the Sabarimala temple, the hill abode of Lord Ayyappa in Kerala, and the actor, a long-time devotee, has frequently observed all the rituals. .
During a recent visit to Mumbai, she was seen performing barefoot prayers at the Shree Siddhivinayak temple to complete Ayyappa Diksha, sparking speculations of her Bollywood debut, which were later quashed.
The actor is currently set to star in the upcoming action-political-thriller Telugu film Game-Changer, which will also co-star with Bollywood actress Kiara Advani. The director of this film is S. Shankar.
