Prabhas recalls fond memories with Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Bollywood News
One of the most anticipated films with an ensemble cast, this blockbuster saw Prabhas raise expectations with his appearance as ‘Bhairava’. Kalki 2898Sharing screen space with megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan for the first time, Prabhas couldn’t be more excited to be sharing screen space with such big names. Recalling his first day of shooting with the two legendary actors, Prabhas recently recounted his experience of meeting the megastars of Tamil and Hindi cinema.
Sharing fond memories, Prabhas said, “On the first day, I went to shoot with Kamal Hassan and it was really nice. I went up to him and said, ‘I just want to say hello’ and paid my respects. That same day, I met Amitabh and touched his feet and he gently said, ‘Don’t do that’. Since then, whenever I meet him, I shake his hand (smiles).” The quiet Prabhas shared fond memories with the two stars and showed how much he respects them.
I will come Kalki 2898Besides Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Hassan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in important roles. Directed by Naag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is a futuristic, multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle in which Prabhas plays the enchanting avatar of Bhairava, a glimpse of which can be seen in the film’s prequel series ‘B&B’ streaming on Amazon Prime Video. After being announced at the US Comic-Con, the sci-fi post-apocalyptic drama is slated for release on June 27, 2024.
