Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has started dubbing for his new film ‘Indian 2’. In the video shared by the film’s production house, actor Kamal Haasan is seen in a dubbing studio with the film’s director Shankar.

In the video, the two can be seen having an intense conversation and discussion. The makers captioned the video as “A glimpse of INDIAN-2’s dubbing session”.
The film is likely to be released on Independence Day next year
The team is currently busy with post-production, which is likely to be finished by mid-2024. The latest we’ve heard is that Indian 2 will be released as a solo project, marking the end of the series. And since the theme of the film revolves around patriotism and Kamal Haasan plays the role of freedom fighter Senapathy, an iconic character from The Indian (1996), Indian 2 will be released in 2024. It is likely to be released on Independence Day.
Interestingly, Pushpa 2 and Singham 3 are also scheduled to release on the same day. Indian 2 is also said to have some heavy-duty VFX work done at a major Hollywood studio in Los Angeles.

The star cast includes Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Bobby Sinha, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Venera・Contains Kishore. Music is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by R Rathnavelu and Ravi Varman and editing by A Sreekar Prasad. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies are financing the film.
Kamal Haasan teams up with Mani Ratnam and H Vinoth
After ‘Indian 2’, director Ulaganayagan will team up with director Tunib for his next film, tentatively called ‘KH 233’. This will be followed by Nayagan’s project with director Mani Ratnam.
