Film director Mani Ratnam and superstar Kamal Haasan have reunited after 33 years. The movie “Thug Life” has finally been released. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautam Karthik, Joju George, and Trisha Krishnan, and has music by AR Rahman.
Production company Rajakamal Films International announced on social media on Wednesday that the project has finally started shooting. In addition to a video of all the stars and the Thug Life team, X (formerly Twitter) had the caption, “New name, new history!” #thug life. “
In an interview with News18, Mani Ratnam recently spoke about his much-anticipated collaboration with Kamal Haasan and said, “I am very excited to be collaborating with Kamal Haasan. It’s difficult when you have an actor of that caliber who has accomplished some things. So don’t go to him just because you’ve done it before unless you’ve done something solid. Hopefully we can bring some of the characters back to the screen. ”
“I don’t think big stars have real egos when they’re on a project. In fact, it’s never difficult to work with stars. You’re clear about what you want and you don’t think they have real egos.” They are all too happy to have someone make decisions for them if they know who they are. They trust you and you trust them. Music composer AR Rahman is composing the soundtrack, while cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad and stunt choreographer duo Anbariv are on board as technical staff. The film is co-produced by Rajakamal Film International, Madras Talkies, Red Giant Movies, R. Mahendran and Siva Ananth.
