Jawan continued to perform impressively overseas in its fifth weekend, earning nearly $1 million, and its offshore total soared to over $47 million on EOD Sunday. Combined with Rs. 743 million rupees in India, and the Shah Rukh Khan starrer’s worldwide box office collection has now reached 240 million rupees. 1,134 million.

Early last Tuesday, the jawan crossed the original global closing RRR of Rs 100,000 crore. With $1.111 billion, it was the third-highest grossing original Indian film after Baahubali 2 and KGF Chapter 2. Dangal and RRR were later released in the Far East, further boosting their global box office collections.

Internationally, “Jawan” is the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film outside of China, after “Pasaan,” which grossed $49.1 million in the same market as “Jawan.” The final amount for Jawan is expected to reach around USD 48.75 million, which will be slightly delayed but will essentially be even, given the potential loss of around USD 500,000 due to exchange rate differences.
