From Oscar nominations and wins to global awards film festival like cannes Indian documentaries are making their presence felt in most film festivals these days.Cannes, Venice, and berlin film festivalthis year for the first time, IFFI GoaI&B officials said:IFFI We will be holding a dedicated session for documentary film professionals.
When it comes to international festivals, Indian documentaries are ahead of other blockbuster festivals. However, these accolades do not always translate into immediate profits, and the documentary still does not get the support it needs. Therefore, there is a great need for promotion through film festivals like IFFI.

IFFI’s 54th edition has many first documentaries
 Apart from the inclusion of documentaries in the “World Cinema” section, there is a special documontage section for films.

In the session themed “Indian Documentary on the World Stage”, Kartiki Gonsalves, RV Ramani, Miriam Chandy Menachery, Sai Abhishek and Nilotpal Majumdar discuss the documentary. As part of the Film His Bazaar Knowledge series, several sessions are planned that explore different aspects of documentary filmmaking.
