Bollywood movie ‘Crew’ to premiere at Star Cineplex

The latest Bollywood film ‘Crew’ was released at Star Cineplex for Bangladeshi audiences on Monday, making it the first Hindi film imported by Star Cineplex through the SAFTA agreement.

Since its release in India on March 29, the film has received good response in the country’s cinemas. The movie ‘Crew’, which features three heroines from three generations of Bollywood, has been under discussion for quite some time and the audience has been eagerly awaiting the film’s release in Bangladesh.

Commenting on the release, Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Senior Marketing Officer, Star Cineplex, said, “The film ‘Crew’ will be released in Bangladesh through the SAFTA agreement. For the first time, we are importing and releasing a Hindi film.”

“We have noticed that viewers have expressed interest in watching Clue when it is released in India, and many movie fans have already contacted us to know its schedule. “As Hindi films cannot be screened during the upcoming Eid festival, the screening of films will be stopped during Eid,” he said.

The film depicts the difficult lives of stewardesses and flight attendants in the airline industry. However, the movie “Crew” has become a hot topic for its ensemble cast, which features three generations of Bollywood heroines: Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea Kapoor, ‘Crew’ is directed by Rajesh Krishnan and highlights the current plight of the aviation industry. Tabu and Kareena worked together for the first time in this comedy genre film.
