‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ star Aneet Pada signs for Mohit Suri and Yash Raj Films romantic drama opposite Arhan Panday: Report: Bollywood News
Yash Raj Films (YRF), a name synonymous with discovering and nurturing Bollywood stars, is back with a bang. Known for unearthing talents like Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Anushka Sharma, YRF is set to introduce a batch of new faces over the next few years. Leading the way is Junaid Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. Junaid, Maharajwill be released on Netflix on June 14. This will be followed by Chunky Panday’s nephew Arhaan Panday in a romantic drama for YRF. YRF has also signed another promising newcomer, Aneet Padda.
Sources say the 21-year-old actress will be making a dream debut opposite Aahan Panday in Mohit Suri’s upcoming untitled teen love story. As reported by Peeping Moon, Aneet is no complete newcomer to the entertainment industry; she has already enthralled audiences with her supporting role in Kajol’s heartwarming love story. Salam Venki Nithya Mehra’s Amazon Prime series Big Girls Don’t CryShe has also appeared in commercials for popular brands like Amazon, Nescafe, Cadbury and Paytm.
Before, Bollywood Hungama Aneet’s stellar audition has reportedly earned her not only her debut film but also a three-film deal with YRF, a significant move that highlights the confidence YRF has in the young actress. Aneet will also be managed by YRF Talent, a talent management company known for its recent shift in strategy.
Rumours are rife that Aneet Padda has had a smashing success in her auditions and has been signed by YRF. She will be seen in a big film debuting as a quintessential YRF heroine. YRF has always backed extremely talented actors, especially outsiders who have become big stars. The company feels that Aneet is a talent to watch and plans to give her a big debut film.
Sources further revealed that YRF has ambitious plans to launch four exciting new artistes within a year. YRF head Aditya Chopra is known for taking chances on newcomers and providing them with a big launch pad. Aneet’s talent impressed Aditya Chopra so much that she was signed to a three-film deal, which comes with exclusive management by YRF Talent, marking a major shift in the agency’s approach.
This is the first film produced by the company’s CEO, Akshay Widani. Aditya Chopra, the creative force behind YRF, is helping Akshay Widani and his leadership team forge creative partnerships with the best talent in the Hindi film industry. The film will go into production this year and is expected to release in 2025.
