When asked about the recent big-budget films that have flopped, Anurag said, “Because they don’t just spend money on the film. What people have to understand is that when we make a film, we are working, we are creating something. It is not a holiday, it is not a picnic. The huge amount of money that is spent is not on making the film. It is spent on props and entourage. You are shooting in the middle of the jungle and then a car is sent to a city three hours away to deliver that five-star burger that you are craving.”
