Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is set to make his Bollywood debut in Maharaj, which will release on June 14. The first look poster of the film, co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat, was recently unveiled. Junaid has already started shooting for his third film even before his debut releases. He is currently shooting for a romantic comedy film opposite Khushi Kapoor. Junaid is celebrating his birthday today and has been spending the day shooting for the film.
The actor will be spending his time shooting for the film and people on the sets are already impressed with his and Khushi’s chemistry. The film is an adaptation of the Tamil hit “Love Today” and shooting began last week in Mira Road, Mumbai. As reported by Mid-Day, the makers are shooting at the 7-Eleven Club in Mira Road and shooting is expected to continue there for the next few days. The film is directed by Advait Chandan.
Meanwhile, Junaid is also starring in a film with Sai Pallavi. The team was shooting in Japan a while back and then kicked off their Mumbai schedule. On the occasion of his birthday today, Junaid’s ‘Maharaj’ director Siddharth Malhotra shared a picture with him along with a message. The director of his debut film wrote, “This boy’s passion and dedication is truly unmatched. They say the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree and in Junaid’s case, that is very true.
