Hoichoi will introduce six new web series
Popular Indian OTT platform Hoichoi has unveiled six exciting new projects featuring popular names Pori Moni, Jaya Ahsan, Chanchal Chowdhury, Mosharraf Karim, Mehazabien Chowdhury and Ziaul Faruq Apurba. All are part of this exciting lineup.
Apart from bringing back fan favorite directors like Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and Ashfaque Nipun, OTT has also roped in popular and award-winning directors including Vicky Zahed, Shihab Shaheen and Anam Biswas for the platform.
List of Hoichoi Bangladesh Web Series Released in 2024:
Rongila book
Directed by Anam Biswas, the web series stars Pori Moni in the lead role. The story is about a small town gangster who decides to leave his life of crime when he learns that he is going to become a father. However, his plans are thwarted when he is falsely accused of murdering a local MP. Now his main concern is to protect himself and his pregnant wife from the authorities and danger.
Jimmy
The series is directed by Ashfake Nipun, Jaya Ahsan. The story follows a low-ranking government employee who has been in the same position for ten years without any promotion. When he comes across a large sum of money in his office locker, his hidden greed emerges, leading him into a tangled web of temptation.
Golam Mamun
Directed by Shihab Shaheen, this serial explores the life of Golam Mamun, a headstrong officer whose fascination with ‘Booker Modhe Agun’ leads to love. Now, as he faces prison for a murder he didn’t commit and is suspected of involvement in another couple’s death, Mamoon, a lawman, must obey him to clear his name and avoid the police. Ziaul Farooq Apurba will be seen in this serial.

Vicky Zaheed and Chanchal Chowdhury team up for their first collaboration. In the thriller serial, Chanchal Chaudhuri portrays the role of Rumi, a detective who is visually impaired. Rumi, a seasoned CID officer, loses his sight in an accident, but soon begins to experience strange dreams with cryptic meanings. Will these clues help solve the case of Rumi’s murder, which he is currently investigating, or will they create a difficult puzzle for him?
Bohemian Hill (Aat mane Not)
Directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Mosharraf Kareem takes on the character of Abbas, a truck driver who has seven wives in seven districts, each of whom the others do not care about. Juggling the intricacies of these multiple families, Abbas’s life takes a turbulent turn when he rescues a young woman and is forced to marry her, causing chaos among his seven wives. How will Abbas overcome this difficult situation and restore order in the complex network of relationships?
Mithiyabad
Vicky Zahed and Mehazabien Chowdhury, known for popular projects including ‘Redrum’ and ‘Ami ki Tumi’, will team up for this exciting Hoichoi project.
After giving birth to a child, Mehazabien begins to question her husband’s ability to father children. Faced with the question of paternity, she confronts her relative, suspects foul play and initiates legal action against her father-in-law and son-in-law. But who is the liar?
